Unicef the Netherlands
Unicef, the United Nations Children's Fund works for the rights of all children. Unicef draws governments' attention to their responsibilities and is also active itself. Unicef supports aid projects focusing on health care, nutrition, education, water and shelter in some 155 countries. The organization's main focus is on ensuring girls are sent to school, children are vaccinated and protected against diseases such as measles, polio and malaria, that they are protected against (sexual) exploitation and violence, preventing the spreading of HIV and giving shelter to children orphaned by AIDS.
