Diederik Slot is new director
On 1 September 2010, Diederik Slot took over as director of Malaria No More! Netherlands from Arjan Erkel. Diederik is no stranger to charity: he managed the IMC Weekend School and was director of Skanfonds.
Diederik will focus on raising funds that will enable Malaria No More! to help prevent and treat malaria.
Diederik's appointment also enables Arjan Erkel to focus on his role as ambassador and manager of special projects. Arjan's workshops and own prominence frequently bring him into contact with all kinds of people and organizations that are interesting for Malaria No More. Arjan is also preparing an event for World Malaria Day 2011 that should get Malaria No More! into the Guinness Book of Records.

Generatie YEP (Generation YEP)
Arjan recently launched his third book: Generatie YEP. The book is about so-called YEPPIES: Young Ethnic Professionals, a new, highly educated, multicultural generation that is socially, economically and psychologically integrated in the Netherlands. In Generatie YEP, interviews with YEPPIES show the positive contribution this growing multicultural group is making to society.
he book is a must for policy makers, marketeers, recruiters, journalists and politicians, who want to use the opportunities this new generation offers society.
