Swimming fete at outdoor swimming pool Zwemlust in Nieuwersluis

On Saturday 28 August 2010 Lions Club OverHolland will be holding a swimming fete in collaboration with Zwemlust and Malaria No More at the outdoor swimming pool ‘Zwemlust’. The fete will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will centre on raising funds for Malaria No More. Wilde Ganzen will augment the total sum raised.

And what will the swimmers be doing?

Swimming laps for a good cause!! A donation will be made to Malaria No More for every lap swum. Get as many people (friends, colleagues, neighbours, companies, etc.) as you can to sponsor your laps, and swim as many as you can! Nice prizes will be waiting for the team that raises the highest sum. If you can swim, sign up as team captain and bring along a team of 8 people.
