Holiday Fair in Utrecht: protect yourself against mosquitoes on holiday

BugsoxAdventureKhaki-200pix.jpgSpending your holidays in a faraway tropical region may be fashionable, but nuisances such as mosquitoes and ticks are an integral part of the package. But then again, you don't have to leave the Netherlands to get bitten by a tick that's infected with Lyme disease.

That's why Tropicare, supplier of products for trips to tropical regions, will have a tent in Hall 2 of the World Aid Market at the Holiday Fair that will take place from 13 to 17 January 2010 in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. A mix of charities, foundations, travel organizations and suppliers of products that are great to have when travelling will be attending the World Aid Market. Visitors will also be able to book responsible holidays, buy sustainable Fair Trade products or products that support a good cause.

During this year's Holiday Fair, Tropicare will be running a special campaign for Healthguard® treated socks by Care Plus: At the Holiday Fair only, you can buy 1 pair of BugSox Adventure (walking socks) and 1 pair of BugSox City (thin socks) for €25 instead of €29.90! In addition, Tropicare is also donating a mosquito net to Malaria No More! for every set of BugSox Adventure and BugSox City sold. No more ugly mosquito and tick bites on your ankles!

Kill several mosquitoes with one stone by visiting Hall 2 at the Holiday Fair: experience the atmosphere and collaboration of the World Aid Market, treat yourself or a friend to a pair of BugSox and help fight malaria.
