Gold Party Amstelveen 2011 successful action under the banner of Wilde Ganzen

On 21 May 2011, Round Table Amstelveen 181, in collaboration with hockey club Pinoké, organized the Gold Party Amstelveen to support Malaria No More! Netherlands and the WE Foundation.

The party started with an overwhelming presentation by Arjan Erkel entitled: Kidnapped - 607 days between life and death. His presentation gives a detailed account of his experiences during his abduction and is an eye-opener for many people.

The party then got off to a musical start with DJ Bas, followed by an auction and a live performance by Robert Leroy.

The Gold Party was a fantastic event that attracted over 250 visitors. An online auction has held before the start of the evening and the later 'live' auction.

A total of € 16,024 were raised, half of which will go to Malaria No More! Netherlands. Wilde Ganzen will augment the sum by 55%, bringing the total proceeds for Malaria No More to € 12,418.
