Fungolf is more than a fun day of networking

Inviting people in your business network to a golf tournament is an excellent way of socializing and doing business in a pleasant outdoor environment. A Fungolf tournament, though, has a bit more to offer: namely fun and social involvement.

The fun of fungolf

Fungolf is a creative 18-hole golf tournament that is played wherever you want, like the Vondelpark or even in a shopping mall. The fungolf season is from April to October.

A maximum of 40 teams of three people can take part in a fungolf tournament. Each hole is played by two teams at the same time in the best-ball format. Any type of event can be organized around the golf tournament, like a wine tasting, a golf clinic, a golf marketplace. All of the participants are well taken care of and entertained.

Fungolf is ideal for service clubs (Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, Round Table Netherlands, Soroptimists, Ladies’ Circle, Rotaract, Junior Chambers, etc.) because they have access to business networks and volunteers, who can receive and greet the participants and accompany the players to the various parts of the green.

Fungolf and social involvement

Fungolf is a very successful way of raising funds. You can use fungolf to raise funds for Malaria No More! Netherlands. On average, the first tournament will raise some € 7,500 net, and you can even make fungolf an annual fund-raising activity.

There are other ways of raising funds besides the registration fees for the participating teams, like finding a main sponsor, finding hole-sponsors, finding advertisers and sponsors for the golf balls, scorecards, the catering and the apparel.

Your investment is € 2,000 (excl. VAT) for the organization (50% in advance, 50% after the event).

You don't have to organize the fungolf tournament yourself!

You don't have to come up with any ideas of do any of the organizing yourself. Montagne Services has been organizing fungolf tournaments for Rotary clubs and Junior Chambers for 16 years and have raised more than € 450,000 net for a variety of charities. Montagne Services designs and creates a ‘nice’ golf course in your area and provides the necessary course material and ‘safe’ golf balls as well as the special scorecards and a programme.
