Miss Face of Ghana Holland supports Malaria No More!

Starting 27 December 2010, Miss Face of Ghana Holland, Augustina Austin, will promote the treatment of diabetes and Malaria No More. The 21-year-old Communications students will raise money for these charities. She will also be introducing her own song: ‘Here for you’. The proceeds will go to her charities.

Malaria needs to be fought here, too, not just in Africa
Augustina is supporting Malaria No More because malaria is not only a problem in Ghana, but also for Ghanaian-Dutch travelling to Africa. Many people are still negligent when it comes to protecting themselves against malaria. She will use her project to raise awareness in the Ghanaian community so that more people will help fight malaria.

All you need to do to help is send a text message
The song, ‘Here for you’, will be played on various Ghanaian radio stations. The video clip will be shown on YouTube, Facebook and Ghanatoday.com. Every time the video or the song is played, the public can donate 3 euros by texting DONATION2TINA to 7733. Augustina will attend a number of Ghanaian activities to raise money.

The project will finish on 25 June 2011 and part of the total proceeds will be given to Malaria No More.
