1,500 darts thrown at malaria at Vakantiebeurs 2011

The action at 4U's stand at the Vakantiebeurs in Utrecht (12 to 16 January 2011) to throw darts at a Malaria No More map of the world was a great success. For just € 2, visitors could throw three darts at the 4u-from.me logos on the map of the world. Those who hit the target received a 4u-from.me t-shirt.

Some 500 visitors bought a total of 1,500 darts and did their best to hit the 4u-from.me logo. Saturday's crowd was the biggest, with more than 150 visitors stopping by to throw darts.

With the total proceeds of €1,000, Malaria No More will be able to buy 100 insecticide-treated mosquito nets for families who need them, educate the locals on malaria and disease prevention, and show them how to use and maintain their mosquito net.
