Support Malaria No More while playing golf at Golf Club Efteling

Does combining a game of golf (with colleagues or friends) with a good cause like fighting malaria sound like something you'd want to do? Well, you can! Go to www.formdesk.com/montagneservices/golf, register yourself and three other people, specify Malaria No More as the beneficiary and you’re ready to take part in a benefit golf tournament at Golf Club Efteling (Kaatsheuvel) on 30 September 2011.

How does it work?

The set up for this year's Goede Doelen Golftoernooi (benefit golf tournament) is the same as last year:

• For € 750, companies can sign up three people and play golf for a charity of their choice. Forty charities will be participating.
• The company can decide which amount will go to the charity you choose to play for.
• € 125 will go to the jackpot and will be divided among the charities chosen by the four winning teams. The winning charities will receive vouchers giving them access to advice by Online Fundraising to increase their current fundraising results.
• A total of 40 teams of three people can take part.

This year's tournament will be played on Friday, 30 September 2011 at Golf Club Efteling (Kaatsheuvel). Playoff is at 11 a.m. After the game, players can indulge in a buffet and fine wines courtesy of Coup de Vin. And there will be live music too! Many of the holes will make for an interesting game because the charities and their sponsors will be decorating them with interesting information and other things.

This benefit tournament is organized by David Berg (tournament director) and Martina Aronsson (event manager). Coup de Vin will provide the wines. In terms of advertising, the organizers will work with the local press and the golf media partner Golfvivant. The tournament is sponsored by the following partners: Herbalife, Succes en Geluk Nu, De Efteling, Wereld Van Morgen and Peak Performance. Participating companies can put their own logos on tea chests and golf flags.

Corporate Social Responsibility on the golf course

Golf is the perfect way for companies to live out their own CSR policy and contribute to a charity at the same time. It works both ways: By participating in this golf tournament, you support a good cause and, albeit indirectly, the charities' social objectives. And golf is also good for your company because it enables you to network, acquire new customers, and manage customer relationships all at the same time in a recreational setting. In addition, the organizers of the Goede Doelen Golftoernooi will organize a meeting every three months for all participating companies to discuss trends, Corporate Social Responsibility and other developments relevant to successful entrepreneurship.
