Help save the lives of three children

On 24 April 2009, Jan Peter Balkenende wrote the following about malaria in his blog:
'Tomorrow is World Malaria Day, which is why Arjan Erkel, who was recently appointed director of Malaria No More, came to see me today in the "Torentje". I signed a mosquito net that’s going to Africa. A mosquito net protects three children against malaria.

Arjan told me that 1 million children die of the disease every year.
That's almost two every minute. Malaria is the number one killer in Africa. Malaria is a disease of the world's poor. It's a disease that is easy to prevent and cure. Arjan: "We could save a lot of lives if we gave every family a mosquito net." I offered to address the issue with other world leaders.
But you can help, too! For €10, you can donate a mosquito net and save the lives of three other people.'
